There's plenty to see and do too, activites range from golf (there are fourteen courses to choose from!) and riding to fresh water and sea fishing. For those who enjoy walking and cycling there's the Heritage coastal walk. With fantastic views it's the perfect way to really discover this most beautiful part of Wales.
There are attractions to appeal to everyone. The fascinating and extensive Museum of Welsh Life at St Fagans is really is not to be missed. Established in, 1948 it has become Wales' most popular heritage attraction and provides a unique picture of Welsh life over the last five hundred years.
The Vale's impressive landscape won't disappoint - it is an area rich with inspiring gardens and parkland: Margam Park offers an exciting blend of history and horticulture and features a Japanese Koi carp pond and 18th century Orangery. Dyffryn, in St Nicholas, is set in 70 acres of spectacular parkland and has a Pompeian garden, reflecting pool, theatre garden, Italianate terraces and cloister garden among other delights.

conceived in 2003 by a group of 16 accommodation providers in the Vale of Glamorgan, a beautiful coastal, rural vale just west of Cardiff.
