Diamond Protection are a
Security Company covering South Wales and the South west of the U.K. We are a
fairly new company, but the senior members of the team have many years of
experience. We feel that many of the larger and well known firms in the security
industry are standing still, and are not moving forward to supply the new style
of security personnel that is required.With these changing times the management
of late licence bars, night clubs or any other position where security may be
required, are asking for less of the old style 'bouncer' with his arms crossed
and wearing dark glasses, and more of the approachable person, who is capable of
contoling and difusing a situation with the least amount of trouble. All of our
employees are approachable people who are all vetted, licensed and then trained
in people management skills before they ever work with the public.
Door Security
Our main area of work is the supply of registered Door Supervisors, on either a temporary or full time basis. Our fully trained staff are highly skilled. To achieve this they are firstly vetted by either the police or the local council office. All staff then attend a Govermant based training course to learn the basics of Door Supervision, which is then followed by the councils exam. Only when these requirements are fulfilled will Diamond Protection then consider there employment. If the candidate is successful, he or she will then undergo our own People management course, which involves learning how to deal with people in a variety of situations. They will learn conflict Management, Control and Restraint, Drug and Alcohol awareness, and Health and Safety matters. All staff are supplied with a company uniform, and because we want to keep the highly trained staff that we have, we also offer all of our employees an ill health scheme. As far as we know, this is not offered by any other Door Security company in the U.K.
